    Booking & Retainer Policy

    A 50% non-refundable, non-transferable retainer is required at the time of booking to secure the appointment date and time. Appointments are not confirmed until the retainer is received. The retainer applies toward the total service cost.

    Remaining Balance

    The remaining balance is due the day prior to the scheduled appointment. Services will not be provided unless all payments are received in full.

    Rescheduling Policy

    One (1) reschedule may be permitted at the Artist’s discretion, provided the request is made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled appointment and subject to availability. The original retainer may NOT be applied to the new date. Any additional reschedules will require a new retainer. Same-day cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeiture of all payments.

    Cancellation / No-Show Policy

    All retainers are non-refundable. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the appointment or failure to arrive for the scheduled service (no-show) will result in forfeiture of all payments. No refunds will be issued.

    Late Arrival Policy

    A 10-minute grace period is permitted, when communication is given prior to appointment. After the grace period, a late fee of $15 per every 10 minutes will apply and must be paid prior to the start of services. Clients arriving more than 30 minutes late may have their appointment cancelled at the Artist’s discretion, with no refund issued. Late arrivals may result in shortened service time to accommodate the Artist’s schedule.

    Payment Policy

    All payments must be made by the stated due dates, the day prior to appointment. Services will not begin until all balances and applicable fees are paid in full.

    Travel & Parking

    Travel fees may apply for locations beyond a 30-mile round trip from the Artist’s location and will be quoted prior to booking. Client is responsible for all parking fees, valet charges, tolls, and any required permits associated with the service location.

    Sanitation & Professional Kit Policy

    Artist follows strict professional sanitation standards, including proper brush disinfection and disposable product usage when required. For hygiene and safety purposes, Clients are not permitted to touch, handle, or use any products, tools, or items from the Artist’s professional makeup kit. All products will be dispensed by the Artist only.

    Client Preparation

    Client is expected to arrive with clean, makeup-free skin unless otherwise instructed. Artist is not responsible for compromised results due to improper preparation.

    Allergies & Skin Conditions

    Client agrees to disclose all allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, or medical concerns prior to the appointment. Artist is not responsible for adverse reactions due to undisclosed conditions.

    Photography & Marketing

    Client grants Artist permission to photograph and/or record video of the makeup application for portfolio, website, and social media use unless Client submits a written opt-out prior to the appointment. If professional photographs are taken, Client agrees to provide the Artist with a reasonable selection of makeup-focused images for portfolio and marketing purposes. Photographer credit will be given when applicable.

    Client Conduct

    Artist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if the Client or any party behaves in a disruptive, unsafe, inappropriate, or disrespectful manner. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

    Results Disclaimer & Refund Policy

    Artist does not guarantee specific results or outcomes, as makeup results may vary based on skin condition, facial features, lighting, product compatibility, and environmental factors. Dissatisfaction after services have been completed does not constitute grounds for a refund. However, Artist will make reasonable efforts during the appointment to address Client concerns and ensure the final look aligns with the agreed-upon style and preferences.

    Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

    Artist shall not be held liable for any failure, delay, or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond Artist’s reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, injury, emergencies, extreme weather, natural disasters, acts of God, transportation issues, venue restrictions, or government regulations. In all cases, Artist’s maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client.

  • Travel Policy

    Sweet Pea Studio is a traveling makeup service.
    • The first 30 miles roundtrip are included with your appointment.
    • Any distance beyond 30 miles roundtrip is charged at $1 per mile (round trip).
    • Travel fees will be calculated from the artist’s starting location and confirmed prior to booking.
